Interesting URL on Apple's Website

Apple Computer will hold a special event on Wednesday October 12, 2005 to introduce something new. Apple starting distributing special invitations to analysts and members of the media for the event. The invitation features a red curtain and state "One more thing..."

It's been rumored for months that Apple may release a Video based iPod. As a followup, here's an ineresting find on the Apple website.

When you go to http://www.apple.com/music you're automatically redirected by the Web Server to the Apple iPod and iTunes page. If you then attempt to go to http://www.apple.com/movies you'll get the generic Apache Web Server Forbidden error:

Forbidden

"You don't have permission to access /movies on this server."

Now this behavior is a bit interesting because if you type another URL for the Apple Website such as http://www.apple.com/hello or http://www.apple.com/123.html you'll get an Apple branded version of the Apache "error 404 (page not found)". It reads:

"Looking for something at Apple.com?
The page you tried was not found. You may have used an outdated link or may have typed the address (URL) incorrectly. You might find what you’re looking for in one of these areas:"

Is the http://www.apple.com/movies URL evidence of an upcoming Movies page for the much rumored video iPod? We will know shortly.
