Macworld Boston: Apple Specialists expect 'Mactels' to grow Mac business market

According to this article, businesses are welcoming the news of the Intel switch. This is great news for Apple as it shows that growth in the enterprise space is likely. Mac's have always had a difficult time penetrating the enterprise market but the switch to Intel processors appears to be opening the door to more customers.

We all know that most enterprises and businesses choose to use Microsoft but this news may be one of the first signs that commercial clients are willing to part with Microsoft and make the Switch to a Mac. Combine this news with my previous post relating to Oracle and Cisco's acceptance of OS X and it's a trend that we all should keep our eyes on. It may be the beginning of Apple's growth beyond the creative professional space and may signal a shift in corporate IT and lead to a crossover to the Mac.

Furthermore, my post from yesterday points to an article that indicates that the Switch to Intel Will Lure Developers to OS X.
