Apple website dominates site traffic
According to Internet Retailer magazine, Apple saw a 26 percent increase in site traffic attracting 24.67 million visits compared to 19.51 million a year ago. Overall, Apple logged the most traffic of the the top ten online manufacturers. In somewhat of a surprise, Dell came in at second place attracting 14.33 million visits.
Furthermore, the average visit time at Apple was 45 minutes, 30 seconds, good enough for second place. These data points indicate that more people are visiting Apple's website and this should show up on the bottom line. I wonder how many of these vistors are potential switchers.

great post...I wonder how much of the traffic could be attributed to existing mac users who are visiting regularly to download widgets?
or people like me who continually fill up their cart with pretty macs, but then look at their bank account and log out. =p
